Purposes (projects) allow people to earmark their donations to your specific needs! For example, if you or your organization wants to raise money for different purposes (say a well digging project in Africa and a homeless shelter in Chicago, IL), you can create different purposes so that people can earmark their donations to your specific need.

To create a purpose:

1. Log into your Continue to Give account

2. Click on Purposes on the panel

3. Click on Create New Purpose

4. Add the name, description, and your mission

5. Save and Continue

6. Then you'll be directed to your Purpose page where you can continue editing your purpose. For example, here you can add an image, set a goal, get your QR code and text number for this specific purpose, and more!

7. Once you're done editing make sure to click on Save Changes.

8. Now your givers can donate to your main organization (also known as a general donation) or they can specify a donation (also known as a purpose).
