Our sms feature allows you to send mass sms messages as well as individual sms messages.

 

Sending SMS Phone Number Setup

 

First, you'll want to be logged into Mission Pillars. You can access Mission Pillars from the Continue to Give dashboard by clicking on ChMS on the left side panel.

 

Once you're in Mission Pillars:

  1. Click on Settings>SMS

  2. Purchase a number that will be unique to your organization

  3. Once you've selected a phone number then click>Purchase Phone Number

  4. Now, you're ready to send an SMS message.

    *Please note, the above steps will only be required the first time you set up the SMS feature.

 

Sending an individual SMS:

 

  1. On the left side panel click on CRM>Contacts>All Contacts

  2. Search Contact by using the Search Contact bar

  3. Once you see your contact's basic information scroll to the upper right hand corner

  4. Click on the blue Actions button> Send SMS

  5. Start writing your message> Send

 

 

 

 

 

 

Sending a mass SMS:

 

  1. In Mission Pillars, on the left side panel click on CRM>Communications>Mass messages

     

  2. Send New Mass Message>Send mass SMS>Next

     

  3. From the drop down menu choose the list of people whom you want to send your message to

     

  4. Compose your message> Next

     

  5. Choose how many people from within the list will receive the message:'All' or # of contacts>Next

     

  6. Tag contacts based on actions taken> Next

     

  7. Here you can include or exclude contacts that have certain tags from your list>Next

     

  8. Final Step: confirm and preview your message and the recipients>Finish and send SMS

     

  9. Mass SMS sent successfully!
